How do Onecard points work?
For every $10 you spend in any one transaction, you collect one
point when you swipe your Onecard. So, if you spend $100 you
collect 10 points, spend $200 to collect 20 points and so on. Every
200 points you collect gives you a $15 cash voucher, so if you
accrue 400 points you'll receive a voucher to the value of $30. The
more points you collect, the more Rewards cash vouchers you
receive.

How do Bonus points work?
Bonus points can be earned by purchasing products that have a
special Bonus points ticket attached. Bonus points have the same
value as base points and are added to your points total, allowing
you to qualify for more rewards, faster.

Where can I find out more about Bonus point promotions?
Onecard Windback mailers are sent out every two months and are
packed full of Bonus point promotions.

Where can I purchase products to earn Onecard Bonus points?
You can earn Bonus points at any Countdown, Woolworths or
Foodtown supermarket, Foodtown Online or Woolworths Online. Bonus
points offers are not valid at Woolworths Micro or Quickstop
stores. Customers do not need to present their offers, they just
need to swipe their Onecard (or Foodtown card) at the time of
purchasing any product with Bonus points.

How much do I need to spend in order to qualify for Rewards? What time frame do I have?
To qualify for Rewards you need 200 points at points cut-off (the first Sunday of February, May, August and November.) You earn 1 point for every whole $10 you spend in a transaction, so roughly you need to spend over $2,000 in 3 months to get 200 points. If you buy products with Bonus points you will earn points much more quickly. And if more than one person does grocery shopping in your household, then make sure they have a card and it is linked together with other cards in your household.

How do I know how many points I've got?
To check your points balance, simply login here, enter your card
number, name on card and date of birth. Once you are logged in,
your Rewards points and own personal tracker appear to show you how
far away you are from receiving Rewards. If you received your
Onecard Rewards pack recently your points balance has been adjusted
to reflect the points that have been converted into rewards.
When do points expire?
Points are expired after the conversion of Points into Rewards in February, May, August and November. Every 200 points you have at Points cut-off is turned into $15 in cash vouchers, any points left over carry forward to the next Rewards (as long as they are not due to expire before the next Rewards).

I had over 200 points and these have been removed from my account, but I have not received a Rewards cash voucher?
The process of working out who has enough points to receive a
Rewards voucher (balances over 200 points) and the actual voucher
arriving in your letterbox takes us one month. We calculate your
points balance on the first Sunday of the month, and then if you
have enough points to earn Rewards the actual cash voucher will be
sent to by the last Sunday of the month as it takes a couple of
weeks to print and post the vouchers.

When will you next expire my points?
We have just completed the May 2010 Rewards exipry. The next points expiry process will be run in August 2010, immediately after we complete the calculation of Rewards for August 2010.

How do I know when my points expire?
If you receive a Onecard Rewards mailing, with a cash voucher,
included is a short points summary, which will state how many
points (if any) have been expired from your account. Alternatively
you can contact our customer service team on 0800 40 40 40 and they
can check your account to see if any points have been expired.

My balance is above 200 and I still haven't received a Rewards pack?
Have you moved recently? If so, please update your contact details here and we will amend your address details and send you out your Onecard Rewards. Rewards are sent out at the end of every February, May, August and November.

Why does the company expire points?
Like most reward programmes, Onecard has an expiry date on
points in order to manage the cost of the programme.
I am unhappy about my points expiring – whom can I complain to?
I do not believe that your accounting is correct – how can you show me that you didn’t expire my points prematurely?
If you require it, we can produce a summary of all points you
have earned, and when, and demonstrate what points have been
converted into Rewards, and which points have been expired.
Why have you changed the points expiry period from 1 year to 6 months?
We wanted to make Onecard the best programme it can be for the most people. In the past 2 years we have brought Countdown into the programme, added Onecard Windback savings and Bonus point promotions, and have dramatically increased the number of people receiving Onecard Rewards and the amount. In order to extend the Onecard programme into an additional 50 Countdown stores in June 2008, we had to reduce the life of Onecard points from 12 months to 6 months. We believe the benefits more than offset this change.

Where can I redeem my Rewards cash vouchers?

account at www.woolworths.co.nz and www.foodtown.co.nz. (Not
including Woolworths Micro or Quickstop stores). Call customer
services on 0800 40 40 40 for further details.

To receive a Rewards pack you will need to have collected 200
points or more on your Onecard.

What happens to my points?
Onecard Rewards are sent out four times a year. On the first Sunday of every February, May, August and November we check each customer's points balance. Points are automatically converted into Onecard Rewards at the end of these months, in groups of 200 points. Any extra points are carried over to the next Rewards. For example, if you had a balance of 305 points on Sunday 1 August 2010, 200 of these points have been converted into a $15 Rewards cash voucher. The remaining 105 points will count towards your next Rewards cash voucher. Each points has a life of 6 months from the date it was earned.

I should have more points than my balance shows. What has happened to them?
If you have recently received Onecard Rewards your points
balance will have been adjusted to reflect the points that have
been converted into your Rewards. If you still believe you should
have more points, then we will need to see your till receipts to
compare them against our records. If you can make copies and post
them to us, we can then update our records and make sure you
receive the points you are entitled to. Our postal address is:
Onecard, FREEPOST 5517, Private Bag 93306, Otahuhu, Auckland.

When are Rewards packs mailed out?
Rewards are mailed at the end of February, May, August and November each year. Rewards are lodged with NZ Post in the last few working days of February, May, August and November, depending on where you live. NZ Post will take between 1 and 5 days to deliver your Rewards mailing.

I lost my Rewards cash vouchers. What can I do?
Unfortunately once the grocery cash voucher is issued it is not
replaceable. This is simply a security issue as they have a
significant monetary value.
Can I link my card to my partner's?
Yes we can link cards in the same household. To do this simply
email onecard@progressive.co.nz
or call 0800 40 40 40. Whether you're a family, in a couple or in a
flat, when you link your cards you nominate a primary card holder.
Points you earn go into the primary cardholders account. Cash
vouchers are sent out with each linked card holders name printed on
them so any of those named can use them.
Can anyone else use my Onecard Cheque ID card in-store?
No. The Cheque ID card may only be used by the card holder -
whose name is printed on the Cheque ID card.
